Scripts: their are 10 scripts to pick from
Costumes: their are 4 options to pick from and you can either pick out a costume or you can make your own costume for the sprite
Sounds: their are three options to pick from and you can record and sound or pick a sound out from your own library
Backdrop:  You can choose a backdrop or make a back drop or pick on from your own library
Sprites: you add any sprite you want into your browser and you can used blocks to make each on do a different thing

Thanksgiving with Images

I only did one photo because i didn't want to post three different pictures on google plus just to get the image URL. But i posted it to Google plus and copy and pasted the image URL onto my webpage and it worked!

HTML Pre Quiz

So after taking the quiz I only got a 68% which is pretty bad but a lot of other people did just as bad if not worst so I am satisfied. I still need to know how to do a background color and maybe some other stuff on the input and output. But other than that I think it went pretty well

Eliza

Eliza was a very unfortunate system that i believed could of been a lot better than it is now.  She kept on repeating the same answer for some questions and that just shows that they used coding and used the same variable on different answers. Not a lot of work was put into this website and I believe that I could probably do better. I don't think this passes the turing test because it uses the same response for different questions which just means that whoever made Eliza didn't put a lot of effort in coding her responses

20 Questions Response

So today we played 20 questions, we picked Michael Jackson as our first person and the game guessed it in 23 questions. If the game is called 20 questions then it shouldn't be considered a win for the game if they guessed it in 23 questions. I man that is common sense. We then did the TV show The Office and it guessed it in 23 questions again. This game is not a good game because it says 20 questions so that should mean that it takes only 20 questions to guess the right answer, not 23 questions. I thought this game was not that good, i thought it could be made better with some expert computer programmer and it can definitely have some potential to be a popular game on the internet.

Bus design

for my own design I decided to create a school bus. I wanted to make something that nobody would probably think to make so my first thought was to create a school bus.

I put the cornrows to try and look like the photo below. I wasn't able to get the big curve around the back of her head but I think this is the closest that you can get when trying to make it look like the picture below.

Since the first design I made with the beads, I have grown to be a very good graphic designer with this types of software. I went form making point by point, then making lines to make my design come a lot faster and more efficient, and on this design I was able to put my computer skills to make this design by using the triangle iteration. It was a more complex design process than the others but I was able to figure it out on my own. I have improved at the efficiency of making these designs by using more complex design tactics

The method I used to design this dog was the line. I just plotted 2 points and when I plotted those 2 points the computer connected those 2 points together with a color that I chose. In which the color I chose was a dark brown. I wasn't really challenged because I knew what I was doing right form the start, I knew what do make and I knew how to make in as easiest as possible.

The Cerberus System for Canine Dogs

One of the newest technology that I have read recently is the new Cerberus system. This Cerberus system equips dogs with basically extra eyes and ears. It is supposed to let us see what the canine is seeing and hearing. It lets us adapt more to our own dogs.  This system consists of a bespoke harness that holds a small camera arm and a SIRIUS LE transceiver snug against the ridge of the dogs spine. The transmitter send a video signal to the handlers portable receiver. The range for this is about 300 to 500 meters! This was created by visual engineers and they say that it is definitely not the end to this project, there will be more technology for the high-tech enhancements to the canine-human relationship.

About Me

My name is Nick Harrigan and I am a senior in Reading Memorial High school. I like to work on the newest technology and see how it works, figuring out complex machines is what gets me. I love cars just like any other guy, I love to drive nice cars and learn about everything that goes on inside of a car. I work at the nearby Staples in reading. Something that people don't know much about me is that I absolutely hate the cold weather here in Massachusetts. That is why I am planning on going to a college in Florida. My dream school at the moment in UCF and I want to study engineering. The reason why I am taking this class is because I want to know everything about a computer, what goes on inside it, how does it work, what can you do to make your computer do cool things. I want to know everything about it. So I hope this year I can be an expert on computer science.
